What it does

Photograph a meal

Point your camera at your plate. Zubdah names the dishes, estimates the portions, and gives you calories, protein, carbs and fat. Every number is an estimate rather than a weighed measurement, and you can correct any ingredient before you save.

Or just describe it

Type what you ate in plain Arabic or English, like “half a chicken with rice and salad”, and get the same breakdown without a camera.

Save recipes from social media

Paste an Instagram, TikTok or YouTube link, or share a screenshot, and Zubdah saves the recipe with its ingredients and the calories per serving.

Built for Arabic food

Kabsa, mandi, jareesh, mansaf, koshari, mulukhiyah, tagine. Zubdah knows them by their own names, instead of matching them to the nearest Western entry in a database.

Pricing

Free with daily limits, with no account and no card. Zubdah Pro is $5.99 a month, or $39.99 a year with a 3-day free trial. Each store charges in your own currency, so the exact amount varies a little by country and by store.
